“This year’s grand Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair places special emphasis on advancing the role of the Thai jewelry industry on the international stage through increased trade opportunities by expanding the extensive list of local and regional traders to prominent global buyers. The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) is now working toward elevating the Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair to rank among the world’s top three industry trade shows by the year 2018.
Based on the new DITP working model, this event also aims to set precedence for future gems and jewelry expos by enhancing the image of the exhibition, beginning with a new and highly secure contemporary layout, highlighting the latest fashion trends and cutting-edge designs, focus toward specific target groups such as seniors and men, all the way to pet lovers, not to mention jewelry for special occasions such as weddings and Mother’s Day, etc., whilst providing an open forum for today’s most influential designers and master jewelers; with hopes to help uplift not just the Thai, but international gems and jewelry industry.”
